The PwC M&A team is pleased to announce the successful Closing of Project LAGOON, the sale of ZIM Flugsitz GmbH (“ZIM Flugsitz” or “Company”), a German developer and manufacturer of aircraft seats, to AURELIUS Equity Opportunities SE & Co. KGaA (“AURELIUS”). PwC M&A acted as exclusive financial advisor to the shareholders of ZIM Flugsitz on this transaction.
The share purchase agreement for ZIM Flugsitz was signed on 15th December 2019 and the transaction was closed on 28th February 2020.
ZIM Flugsitz is a German developer and manufacturer of aircraft seats serving blue-chip airlines and aircraft manufacturers across the globe. The product portfolio comprises a broad range of innovative, customized, and light weight seats for economy, premium economy and business class. The company was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Markdorf, Germany.
