The PwC M&A team is pleased to announce the successful sale of LIS Logistische Informationssysteme AG (“LIS”) to DKV MOBILITY GROUP SE (“DKV Mobility”). PwC M&A acted as exclusive financial advisor to the private shareholders of LIS. LIS is a leading provider of high-end Transport and Warehouse Management Software (TMS/WMS) to the logistics sector. The acquisition allows DKV Mobility to significantly expand its digital service portfolio for transport and freight customers on its mobility platform.
The share purchase agreement was signed in December 2022 and the transaction was closed in February 2023.
Headquartered in Greven, LIS is a leading German provider of high-end, modular Transport and Warehouse Management Software (TMS/WMS), serving shippers, freight forwarders and other logistics service providers across Europe. Established in 1980 as a pioneer in the software industry, LIS today has a strong team of around 220 employees in 6 countries. The company’s core TMS solution WinSped is complemented by the integrated web application WebSped as well as the mobile application AppSped. In addition, LIS has introduced a state-of-the-art SaaS WMS solution LIS Warehouse Management (LWM) in 2022. To enable its cloud-based service offering, the company operates an ISO 27001 27001-certified data center.
DKV Mobility is a leading B2B platform for on-the-road payments and solutions, serving around 300,000 customers in the mobility sector. The company is active in 50 countries and has around 1,900 employees. DKV Mobility offers access to the largest energy-agnostic acceptance network in Europe, including fuel service stations, public and semi-public EV charge points and alternative fuel service stations.
