Dr Mathias Link is qualified as a German lawyer and tax advisor. Prior to joining PwC in 2018, he worked for 14 years in the tax department of one of the leading German international law firms. According to the ‘JUVE Tax Manual 2023’, Mathias is one of the frequently recommended tax experts of PwC in the area of financial services.
Mathias advises on the tax aspects of transactions in the financial services field with an emphasis on tax structuring, more and more in relation to block-chain based models. He is co-editor of the leading German Crypto Handbook and regularly publishes articles and holds speeches. He is a guest lecturer at the German Federal Tax Academy and the Frankfurt Institute for Law and Finance (ILF).
