The following terms of use apply to the use of the Hydrogen Calculator, which you must agree to in advance.

1. The hydrogen calculator is an online tool for an initial indicative determination of key parameters and the potential profitability of hydrogen applications. The result shows a first estimation of the achievable profitability compared to the selected reference technology and determines it on the basis of fixed stored data. For the basic assumptions in the web tool, only average values for Germany are used. The web tool is not suitable for calculating international results.

2. For the automated calculation by the tool, data information of the user is required. These data are used for the determination of the savings potential.

3. After completion of the self-check, you will be shown the calculated result and given the opportunity to save the document on your own computer for further processing if you wish. Your data will be temporarily stored for the purpose of calculating your result and until it has been calculated and will be deleted after completion of your self-check or premature termination. It is not necessary to collect personal data for the purposes of the self-check, nor is it necessary to enter personal data in the free text fields.

4. The use of the hydrogen calculator on this site is free of charge. Commercial use or distribution to third parties is not permitted. The data obtained using the web tool are based on average values for Germany, neither company-specific emission factors nor company-specific transformation costs are reflected. The web tool is therefore not suitable for providing information for use in a sustainability report or in a management report.

5. The operator of the site assumes no responsibility for the functionality of the hydrogen calculator and for its suitability for the user's purposes or for decisions made by the user based on the information obtained or the result obtained.

6. The Hydrogen Calculator serves only as an initial general assessment and is not intended to replace an individual legal, business, or other analysis and advice, taking into account the specific circumstances of the individual case. Furthermore, the hydrogen calculator is not suitable for providing information for use in a sustainability report or in a management report.

7. The evaluation of the questions is automated by the online tool and does not represent an individual assessment by PwC or other initiators mentioned on this page - nor does it imply a quality assessment by PwC that may be used for advertising or other purposes.

8. The use of the Hydrogen Calculator and any claims arising therefrom or in connection therewith shall be governed exclusively by German law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the German courts.
